Happy New Year Vietnamese Style: Diversity, Food and Fun at 2016 Tet

BéMai Productions™ recently worked in conjunction with our associate Cher Davis, CEO & founder of Brand U Love℠, to help the Vietnamese Association of Jacksonville (VAJV) promote this year’s Tet Lunar New Year Celebration at the Jacksonville Fairgrounds. As a team, we presented the VAJV with multiple services, including videography, photography, website creation, email blasts, graphics and marketing via social media.

This year’s theme for the Vietnamese New Year is the Year of the Fire Monkey, which heralds a time of leadership and positive change within the community. The diversity of the crowd that came out to the event definitely demonstrated a positive community vibe and there was much fun and entertainment to be had for all ages: there were dancers, singers, dragons, and of course, yummy food!

With the increased exposure we were able to generate on social media, and the fun and eye-catching “Year of the Fire Monkey” graphics we created, our team worked hard to help this event gain as much exposure as possible. Our proudest moment was when the event was featured in a recent edition of the Jacksonville Times Union newspaper – check out the slideshow that Times Union created online here: http://jacksonville.com/slideshow/2016-01-31/happy-new-year-vietnamese-association-celebrates-new-year-tet-2016#slide-1

We love it when all the hard work that goes into promoting our clients’ events pays off!

As one person told us: “What wonderful things [have] come out of [this event]. There were so many more people at the [Jacksonville] Fairgrounds this year than in the past years I’ve ever seen.” Much was the sentiment with many folks whom we spoke with who had attended the event in previous years, including event chairs Eric Nguyen & Thu Nguyen.

All around, it was a phenomenal experience for us to be part of Tet 2016. This event truly shows how great results come from teamwork shared among such diverse and creative individuals. We look forward to participating in next year’s event!
